Our Story
Two congregations.
One growing story.
A new expression of grace.
Our Saviour’s Evangelical Lutheran Church first opened its doors in 1961, establishing its home on Redwood Street in Oxnard just a few years later. For over sixty years, this congregation has been a steadfast pillar of worship, extending God’s grace to generations of local families. Meanwhile, Redimidos emerged from a vibrant vision of ministry that honors culture, family, service, and faith. Through its bilingual and multicultural approach, Redimidos created a welcoming space where people from all walks of life could truly belong.
Today, these two distinct histories are intertwining to form Living Grace – Gracia Viva. We are building a fresh identity that honors our past while embracing the exciting future God has in store for us. As a combined community, we are dedicated to multicultural fellowship and serving our neighbors through love and radical hospitality.
